Toshiro, perhaps hurt most of all by what samurai had become, decided that killing his brethren and stopping Konda was worth the pain he would endure in doing so. He took no joy playing hero, but he did love a fight. Knowing he would need the help of other likeminded individuals, he reached out to Isao. Isao agreed, reluctantly, that killing Konda was the only way to end the Kami War. Toshiro also reached out, with open coin, to the Brothers Yamazaki. The twins were too proud to serve Lord Konda and turned mercenary, always looking for a good fight. Toshiro knee the three of them United May be able to pull off a miracle. Toshiro believed that perhaps Konda’s top samurai had even grown weary of their Lord, but unable to defect due to having nowhere to run. Toshiro would spare those that would join the fight against Konda, but show no mercy to those who would stand in his way.
