Jeskai control deck because I like to be different from the meta.

Win Conditions: Torrential Gearhulk , Approach of the Second Sun and Enigma Drake

Strategy: Apart from the standard control method of countering and bolting everything your opponent plays, there are a few key strategical opportunities to look out for if you can:

1. Starting the game with a red drop and Magma Spray is ideal, this card makes an effective way of getting rid of cards with Eternalise or Embalm, or just limiting potential options for your opponent.

2. Disallow makes a punishing counter to abilities with additional costs, i.e. Ramunap Ruins , causing your opponent to not only waste 5 mana but sacrifice a land for nothing.

3. Supreme Will Is incredibly helpful for re-drawing Approach of the Second Sun , as casting it at the end of your opponent's turn effectively lets you reach the 5th card in your deck, combined with Opt you can reach approach in one turn, setting you up for the win.

Sideboard: Most cards in the sideboard are there for use in a slower game, allowing you to focus more on counters than removal. Negate and Spell Pierce in particular should be used against any deck with few creatures in it, as your removal could easily start to feel like dead weight. Ashes of the Abhorrent is for use against heavily graveyard focused decks, completely cutting off embalm and eternalize options, at the cost of weakening your own Gearhulk.

Help Needed: trying to decide whether Dovin Baan should be in the mainboard as he helps with survivability and card advantage, but unsure whether he's too slow against the majority of decks in the meta. Any other suggestions, criticism or feedback is more than welcome, and if someone wants to try and convince me that Gideon of the Trials should be in here then feel free.
