INTRODUCTION AND OVERVIEW

This deck is a token/ramp deck that revolves around an infinite combo between Ruthless Knave and Anointed Procession as a primary win-con.

Our deck puts a heavy emphasis on treasures and tokens, which we can sacrifice through Ruthless Knave to make even more treasures. We can use Ruthless Knave other side, sacrificing 3 treasures to draw a card, which will find us either more creatures that can get sacked for treasures, or Torment of Hailfire, at which time we will gather as much mana as we can and blow our opponent up.

In its purest form, this can go on forever, and you can draw and sack your entire deck, ending up with an astronomical amount of treasures.

The creatures in our deck naturally ramp regardless of whether we find our combo-pieces, and we can use that manna to kick Josu Vess, Lich Knight as an alternate win-con. Finally Rite of Belzenlok acts as both a token generator and another alternate win-con. Note that all our win-con's are greately improved by Anointed Procession. With our natural ramp we can also play Finish, Return and Dawn more freely.

HOW TO PLAY

In our starting hand we want at least 1 of either Gleaming Barrier, Dire Fleet Hoarder or Start, along with 3 lands.

Since we have no 1 drops we will start out with a slow land if we have one, then on turn 2 we will play either Gleaming Barrier or Dire Fleet Hoarder, with the hoarder taking priority in the case you have both. He dies quicker, which ramps you quicker. He also threatens 2 damage if left unblocked. You win either way with this one.

Turn 3 we will want to play another one of our 2 drops, or card:start/finish, or Never//Return if there is a threat that needs to be dealt with; and finally, only against control is it recommended to play Ruthless Knave turn 3 to try and get underneath counterspells.

Turn 4 we want to play one of our enchantments, or Pitiless Plunderer if we can. If we need extra defense we can still play 2 drops or card:start/finish, but we want to get Anointed Procession and Rite of Belzenlok out asap, since they dont really pay off on the turn they are played.

Math is required if you have Ruthless Knave and Anointed Procession in play to make optimal use of them. If you have a Pitiless Plunderer or a second Anointed Procession in the mix as well you can pretty much just start the infinite combo, since treasure generation is so high that math doesnt matter anymore.

SIDEBOARD

Cast Out is for anti-planeswalker/enchantment/artifact play, with card:invoke the devine adding to that theme on the enchantment/artifact level. The unsealing and mill decks going around are prime targets for these sideboard options.

Duress is for anti-control play. It can also help against stuff like marwyn storm to target their card draw, since without card draw marwyn can only play through his hand, and that deck becomes trash.

Vona's Hunger is against red, merfolk and token decks to reduce excessive board presence. Treasures and tokens mean we get ascend super quick.

Josu Vess, Lich Knight is for added punch against slower decks, while Revel in Riches is for...honestly i dont know what its for, but its a cool treasure card and id feel half naked without it. We certainly do have the means to make this a win-con, so maybe against decks with lots of non-land permanents and card draw; decks that will make it difficult for Torment of Hailfire to do its thing. The main problem i have with this card is its kinda slow, but kinda slow may be the fastest option at times.
