Hi and welcome to my first attempt to Vannifar.

First of all i know this is not the perfect build and it would be insane when all of you can help me to get the perfect pod deck in standard.

The interaction of Rhythm of the Wild and Vannifar is just awesome. Your Vannifar gets haste and the creature you tutor for in your turn aswell, which is huge in control matchups. Not to mention that all your creatures cant be countered. The Frilled Mystic is insane against boardwipes.

Being able to block your opponent who is aggressive and upgrade your blocker, who already gave you value in form of the explore creatures is awesome.

For removal i chose hostage taker, which is insane when you dont need any mana for him. Plaguecrafter for Teferi decks and plague mare for the token strategies.

For the sideboard i think we have to wait how the meta is shaping up in the next days and weeks.
