After getting back into MTG after a 20 year hiatus, I really wanted to build a mill deck - especially after I pulled a couple of Phenax, God of Deception out of boosters. After the JOU release, I had a reasonable set of cards to build such a deck.

This deck draws inspiration from: deck:phenax-god-of-the-walls, but has been altered based on the cards I have...

NB: Most would go with 2x Phenax, God of Deception, but my idea is to use whatever I draw in 5CMC. If the drawn card doesn't look like it suits the situation, use Disciple of Deceit to tutor for the one I want.

Also, the two B/G lands were originally there to support using Sylvan Caryatid which I was wanting to use wall+ramp, but this wasn't adding much benefit. Those two lands are now there as 1 of 4 scry and shock lands.

The other two land cards are for late game, if there's enough mana to use the Entering part of Breaking
