luther: I already have Whip of Erebos in here. I was running True Conviction but I had to take it out to fix the mana curve a bit. I am very tempted by Goldmane though! Thanks for the great suggestions. I'll be thinking...

You need Graveborn Muse. :)

jsansoldo: I really don't have enough zombies in here for Graveborn Muse to do much. And once I get Necropotence, I'll have more cards in my hand than I know what to do with.

Although he was quite childish and rude, he does have a point about the card draw and consistency. His graveborn idea isnt bad. I also would suggest Greed or Erebos, God of the Dead. Some cards that I like for a little more consistency are Night Dealings and Diabolic Revelation. Sure they are a bit mana intensive, but if your playgroup isn't super duper cutthroat they are well worth playing. One last card that I really really love with sac decks is Martyr's Cause. It may seem redundant with grave pact and dictate, but it is just magical watching someone blow up your pact just to see this drop the next turn. The look of total disgust is just so rewarding

I meant Martyr's Bond..... but the cause is still pretty nice to have around

luther: Thanks for some great suggestions! I have added them to the maybeboard. I had been thinking about Greed and I like that idea better than Graveborn Muse (which kicks ass in my Mallwalkers deck--because it's a zombie deck.)

First, I can activate Greed whenever I want. I don't have to hope and pray that it survives until three other players' turns pass and my next upkeep begins (and most decks feature more creature than enchantment removal.) If Greed is going to get removed, I can greed away as much as I have mana for at instant speed.

Psychosis Crawler and Kiyomaro, First to Stand don't have to be enormous to be good cards in this deck. I don't have to have a huge hand size. But since I am running Necropotence, they synergize well with my commander. If they come out as 8/8s, I am perfectly happy with that. Even better if I can enchant one with Murder Investigation, and/or give it persist with Cauldron of Souls before Vish Kal eats it. Or bring it down to only one toughness with Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief before I eat her. I think if crypants up there had taken the time to understand how the deck plays he wouldn't have had such a meltdown over his suggestion being put on the maybeboard and not added to the deck immediately.

I would remove the 1 drop chumps, they are mostly a waste of a card and only stop ground creatures, removal is better or cards that give you multiple dudes to sac, like Lingering Souls or Increasing Devotion. I would also play Martial Coup as a wrath that gives you dudes to sac. Making many small 1/1's makes your commander's "removed all +1/+1" better because you can make him exactly how big you need him, then remove the counters without wasting any.

Oh and it's also better with Blood Artist and Dark Prophecy and Teysa, Orzhov Scion

XyZiron: I like your ideas a lot. I replaced the chumps with Lingering Souls, Spirit Bonds, and White Sun's Zenith. What do you think of that idea?

also Argivian Find is a bit meh, its only a 1 for 1, maybe Mine Excavation (possible 2 for 1 for just 1 more mana), also I'm not sure if you want this for specifically artifacts or enchantments, you tend to have more artifacts and if that is what you usually return Argivian Archaeologist is slower but reusable, Buried Ruin costs more, but can function as a land when you don't have an artifact to return, Razor Hippogriff or Sanctum Gargoyle leaves you with a dude to sac (and the grif gains you a bit of life), Remember the Fallen is atleast a 2 for 1, and Trading Post is just kinda sweet in this deck (and even though the goats are 0/1 which is meh with your commander they are white for Teysa, Orzhov Scion, card advantage with Dark Prophecy, and artifact recovery with itself)

Oh Child of Night is basically a do nothing. I like Archon of Justice in this deck to deal with opposing Avacyn, Angel of Hope and other problem perminants. You could also go big with Ashen Rider.

oh and Cradle of Vitality is basically another Necropolis Regent with your commander (lifelink op)

XyZiron: Great suggestions. I have swapped out Child of Night for Archon of Justice (I wasn't in love with her to begin with but she is a 2/1 with lifelink). The rest I will have to ponder and think about what I might replace. Thanks for all the helpful advice!

Oh--and I am keeping Argivian Find because it can grab me some of my key enchantments like Necropotence or Dark Prophecy if they get destroyed as well as an artifact.
