This deck is essentially esper control with the win con being tokens in the form of Lingering Souls and Beck / Call. Brain in a Jar is used to smoothly cast Beck / Call on turn 4, but can also be used to play anything else to simply save mana. It can also be used to cast sorcery spells at instant speed. I would like to note that you do not need Brain in a Jar to effectively use Beck / Call since using Narset Transcendent to rebound will allow you to cast it for free on your next upkeep. You can also just cast the Beck side then play Lingering Souls to trigger it drawing 2 cards. If you have any Esper control sideboard tips please tell me.
