Junk tokens.This deck got its start as a mash up of the Modern event deck and the Golgari half of the Izzet vs. Golgari duel decks. I threw in some recursion and some boarwipes; and voila, instant EDH deck.

Let's assume Primal Vigor and Parallel Lives are both on the field. The way they work together, the first one doubles tokens and then the other one doubles the doubled tokens, so the token producing spells produce 4 times the number of tokens the spell would on its own. This would be doubled again by Doubling Season, but that would be overkill and it would probably make people hate me. Anyway, let's assume I have both of those cards down and I go to play some spells.

Vile Rebirth produces 4 tokens.

Raise the Alarm produces 8 tokens.

Lingering Souls played regularly and for its flashback cost produces 16 tokens.

Battle Screech played regularly and for its flashback cost produces 16 tokens.

Spectral Procession produces 12 tokens.

Captain's Call produces 12 tokens.

Moan of the Unhallowed played regularly and for its flashback cost prouces 16 tokens.

Increasing Devotion played regularly and for its flashback cost produces 60 tokens.

Beckon Apparition produces 4 tokens.

Gather the Townsfolk produces either 8 or 20 tokens.

And last but not least, Army of the Damned played normally and for its flashback cost produces an unreasonable 104 tokens all by itself. That's assuming I don't use Eternal Witness to return it to my hand.

Unless I've done my math incorrectly, I read that as an absurd 272 tokens. Look at all the main board enchantments, they all play a role. See Essence Warden + Healer of the Pride + Soul Warden ? When I play literally any creature, I get a free angel from Angelic Accord. But, not just one angel, it get 4. And that turns into 16 life. If the enchantment wasn't limited to one per turn, i'd go infinite. Throw guys like Rhys the Redeemed and Ageless Entity into the mix and things get scary quick. (Imagine Fungal Sprouting quadrupled after played off of Ageless Entity in this lifegain deck.) Also Spike Feeder + Sunbond produce infinite life at instant speed, so work that in there too.

This deck spawned a pair of successor decks named "Ol' raisin hands" and "How to play Graveyard Games, for fun and profit"
