So, the inevitable ban has hit Pauper and it has hit the format hard. Gitaxian Probe , Daze and Gush have all been banned which affects a fair few decks including the Tireless Tribe Combo deck.

Essentially, WOTC have banned the most powerful "free" spells of the format which, whilst a definitely wise decision, it does significantly impact the format and this deck in particular. Daze may only have been a one of prior to this ban, but the other two were full playsets and crucial to your strategy. Gush was a 4 in 1 - as in it gave you 4 cards to discard to tribe - meanwhile Gitaxian Probe gave free information and a cantripped you, allowing you to dig slightly further into your deck.

Now that this ban has been made official and Modern Horizons has been fully spoiled, I decided to go back to the deck that I love and make tweaks to it in order to make it potentially playable, and hopefully competitive, again.

And with that, there are some immediate talking points to this list:

1) Seeker of the Way provides an additional clock that, with Shadow Rift , can go unblocked and deal some damage whilst gaining you life. This is particularly important as both Control and Aggro decks get much better against Tireless Tribe with the ban - Aggro has the speed to go under and Control now has the ability to grind better as Tireless Tribe is a much slower deck now.

2) Snap is a pair of as a trial card. I like the idea of having at least one remaining "free" spell as it untaps your lands after, allowing you cast more spells and gain additional Prowess triggers with Seeker of the Way whilst maintaining tempo of sorts.

3) Accumulated Knowledge is now your primary draw spell of the deck. It begins as a cantrip, but soon turns into a draw 3 or 4 giving you the refuel you need to discard more to Tireless Tribe for the combo win.

4) Careful Study is an underrated and under-utilised card in Pauper. Sure it technically loses you a card (being a 3 for 2), but it does give important card selection, whilst also benefitting the Accumulated Knowledge package as you can bin one to draw 2, 3 or 4 from another.

5) Peek may not be Gitaxian Probe but it is still worth the pair of as it gives you information of the deck you're playing against and also cantrips you.

6) The sideboard has barely changed at all with only a couple adds like another Apostle's Blessing and cutting the more underwhelming spells like Summary Judgement and one of the copies of Echoing Truth .

So that's the deck. I welcome feedback and questions of any kind. I have high hopes for Tireless Tribe as a combo deck to survive the Pauper ban and there has even been talk of a Boros variant running About Face as copies 5 and 6 of Inside Out and also Plow Through Reito as its way to refill the hand for the combo win.
