This deck is a straight forward zombie swarm deck. It plays pretty linearly but it's usually best to think about the sequence you play your zombies to hit 4 toughness the fastest as there are not many sweepers in the format that can sweep 4 toughness creatures and the couple that do are in a singleton format. Cards like Colossus and Swarm should be held as finishers and removal should be reserved for only the biggest of threats. Liliana is best played only after you have a sac outlet of some kind, or some other way to immediately transform her. A strong play is generally to cast Lili, sac a 2/2 token and then +2 away a strong 3CMC zombie. There is considerable synergy between Phyrexian tower and Lord of the Undead as one provides mana for the other to recycle a zombie for a colossus trigger or as simple as dropping geralf's messenger a second time. Messenger sacs, gives this deck pretty good reach in a gummed up board as with decent mana can deal 8 damage in a turn.
