In theory, the ideal steps are as follows:

T1: Preordain. T2: Play Fireweaver. T3: Play Battered Golem or Mirran Spy. T4: Play Golem Foundry/Play Banishing Knack or Retraction Helix on Golem or Spy/Play Ornithopter or Shield Sphere, tap for one damage, tap to return creature, replay creature, untap rinse and repeat til opponent is dead or stomp them out with 3/3's.

Countermeasures:

Viridian Longbow and Fire Whip are in there in case you don't have a Fireweaver out but have two of any of the untappers. You play either on one and Helix or Knack on the other and you Timmy them to death.

Thoughtcast is there just for the draw and Apostle's Blessing to protect your pieces.

Sideboard is filled with essentially more protection for different types of decks and needs some love.
