Sideboard

based on Brad Nelson's "Hoof there it is"

at least that is where I started with this ... I then realized that my opponents quickly grasped how valuable it was to kill my Somberwald Sage s. With a little inspiration from Conley Woods I decided to keep going over the top with Ranger's Path and Gilded Lotus. It turns out this makes casting a turn 4 Angel of Serenity into a turn 5 Craterhoof Behemoth a very easy thing to do. Often I find myself forgetting what turn it is while I am busy "doing all the things" for my turn and planning for the next 3.

Maindeck Avacyn, Angel of Hope is great against sligh and rakdos if you can live long enough. Works well against Bant as well as long as you can get her to stick. You'll have them digging for an angel or rift/unsummon.

Reanimator package in the board makes changing things up possible if you need to go for a longer game or want faster casts. I do find that I often am using Tracker's Instincts to get elves and power up Deathrite Shamans as well as put a few Lingering Souls in the graveyard.

The 1 Farseek seems to be the right number as I almost never draw it when its not needed and if its in my opening hand with an elf I am usually all gas ... especially if I have a Tracker's Instincts

Updates Add

updated the sideboard for FNM this evening.
-1 Sands of Delirium -4 Thragtusk
+1 Deathrite Shaman +4 Elderscale Wurm

the wurms are for bringing in against aggro and RDW. The synergy with Avacyn, Angel of Hope works well and puts your opponent on a pretty fast clock to find an answer (the best one being Selesnya Charm)

The deck played like a beast and Angel of Serenity proved once again to be a major powerhouse.

Lost only a single game to Bant Control which ended up just not getting there after boarding. Was resilient even against a second turn Rest in Peace.

Score for the evening was 5-0. (finally breaking my silly 3-2 streak) ....we intentionally drew the last match against a super strong G/W aggro to split the prizes. We played for bragging rights and I won both games, so I am still counting it as a win for the deck.

Elderscale Wurm performed well here as well ... buying me the time I needed to get a big win or ground out with silly flyers.

Thought of the Evening
You are aren't supposed to be able to play these cards .... they aren't supposed to be good!
