This deck CAN actually work, now.

Even if Throne of the God-Pharaoh never hits the field.

Hilarious!

It's been built by the TappedOut community, basically.

Well done, all of you.

OminousRex if I go the Chandra, Flamecaller route I may as well put Hanweir Garrison + Hanweir Battlements in as well. Which I now have.

Guardians I like the Mirror Gallery suggestion, but my judges are pretty sharp.

I'll keep it in mind for if I decide to change this for Modern.

Guardians it seems only right for me to also add Cascading Cataracts to the Sideboard as well.

I'm surprised Nicol Bolas isn't in the side! Nothing like art showing the God-Pharoh cozied up with a nice book!

Except that's not the REAL God-Pharaoh Jimmy_Chinchila

Argeaux I'm pretty sure the fact of the matter is that the God-Pharoah has gone to a few beauty salons in its time, and gone on a bit of a diet :)

Hey, love your deck! I played it a few times... But I was wondering, how do you do the nicknames for cards? Like in the joke about the "Actual God-Pharaoh"

ACDAMAN Eager Construct is not something that I joke about.

You write the real name of the card then put | then the name you want to call it.

No spaces.

mynameismawky good call on Captain's Claws.

Last time I checked I had no facial hair.

I try to use gender neutral language on TappedOut, as not everyone here is male.

I am not your wife.

As much as you'd like it to be gender neutral, the word is a masculine pronoun.

You might refer to your wife as "man" to be cute, that is between you and her, but it is offensive to refer to women that way in a lot of countries.

Think about how jarring it would be for someone to constantly refer to you as girl, if you can be bothered.

I use the throne in a servos/improvise deck I've been working on... no-one expects that combo, but it can work really well.

DragonEleven it's amazing in just about any Creature-based deck, particularly ones that also use Exert.

It works well in my Amonkhet Minotaurs

With the artifact hate from Fragmentize By Force and just plain hate from Cast Out, the throne will be basically useless, and the opponent would still have the ability to get rid of Rai quickly along with the profane prince himself. The deck is good, but the Artifact hate is strong

I was thinking more of a ramp styled deck built around walking ballisra and big creatures using throne to give damage for my mana dorks and exert creatures
