Hello everyone!

Ive been playing Simic/Sultai Flash all through WAR/20 standard. Its definitely not well positioned right now in that meta, but with THRONE coming in and adding some very powerful and out right busted cards, this list is shaping up to be a contender week one and beyond.

CARDS IM INCLUDING FROM THRONE:

Wildborn Preserver : An absolute unit for any flash deck. All of our creature trigger his ability, which makes for some crazy interactions during combat. I've squeaked out a few wins in testing just because of his ability. Being a two drop also helps out. Being able to cast a Spectral Sailor after blockers and pumping him for the win is satisfying on a whole different level.

Brazen Borrower

The MVP of testing. The first time I saw this card, I almost groaned out loud with how lack luster I thought it was going to be. BOY WAS I WRONG.The instant ability, Petty Theft, is a knock out in this list. Rakdos aggro being a little too aggro? Throw that Dreadhoard Butcher back to the hand. There are a multitude of cards that this ability just stunts. The creature isn't anything to cry home about, but it really does get the job done, and it does it well.

CARDS I TESTED, BUT DIDN'T MAKE THE CUT:

Once Upon a Time

I know, I know. The card that everyone is talking about. The modern breaker. The most busted card in the set. Truth is, its extremely clunky after the first one. Getting one of these turn 3 or 4 is just heartbreaking. It doesn't set you up with a great counter (only grabs lands and creatures), which is what this deck is designed to do. its only really effective after turn 6, and by then, you should already have the game on lock. I'm not saying by any means that this card is bad (because its not. Its an absolutely insane card.), it just doesn't fit in the deck right now. I'll jam this in any other green based midrange list and it will be the all-star of the deck. But its just not the sauce we need in this list.

Everything else in this list is pretty standard. I decided not to run opt and go for a more creature heavy version. It seems to be working out more than the heavy control variants.

Thank you all for stopping in, and please comment if you think I'm crazy for not playing some of the cards you think are going to be great in this list! CHEERS!
