The basic idea for this was 'I want to build Thrasios, but not in the conventional way'. My local meta is very combo/control heavy, and I wanted to step out of that...to a point. This deck does have a fair number of combos, but it is fully capable of unloading a wall of elves and going the traditional beat face route. So onto the the break down.

So this deck, in my use, has three modes that I have found: Rush to combo, Go aggressive, and advantage engine. If it can be done, the first objective is rush out one of the many mana combos and just draw until you can land a win con. Barring that either start swinging or use the mana to start scooting ahead of he pack.

Mana Combos:

Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal + Mana Creatures

Isochron Scepter + Paradox Engine + Mana creatures + Any 1-2 mana instant
