Once the brew gets the brains nice and pickled, they're a lot easier to pick through.
Not an original idea - found it on The Mana Base (http://themanabase.com/pauper-ponderings-sultai-lantern-control/) and thought it looked like a cool deck to try.
Lantern Control
The idea here is to set up Thoughtpicker Witch with Persist creatures to control the opponents draws. This is similar to Lantern Control in Modern, though obviously a lot less consistent.
Safehold Elite and Rendclaw Trow Persist back after being sacrificed to Thoughtpicker. With an Ivy Lane Denizen in play, they are able to be Persisted multiple times.
Chainer's Edict acts as our mainboard removal, with Bojuka Bog also mainboard to stop any opponent graveyard shenanigans.
Sakura-Tribe Elder is here for a chump blocker that can be sacrificed to ramp up.
Combo
To win, we want to set up what amounts to an infinite damage/life gain combo.
With Carrion Feeder and Ivy Lane Denizen out, Persist creatures are able to be sacrificed infinitely to the Carrion Feeder, making it infinitely large. If Essence Warden is in play as well, we gain infinite life from the Persist creature constantly coming back into play.
Card Draw/Recursion
Deep Analysis and Mulldrifter for card draw.
Grim Harvest, Grapple with the Past and Mortuary Mire for recurring lost combo pieces.
Sideboard
Caustic Caterpillar for artifact/enchantment removal on a stick.
Shrivel and Tragic Slip for additional removal.
Dispel and Negate for counterspells.
Maybeboard
Mesmeric Fiend for hand disruption that combos with Carrion Feeder to permanently exile cards (cast Fiend, with ability on the stack, sac to Feeder, Fiends 2nd ability goes on top of stack and basically fizzles).
Spore Frog for a fog effect on a stick that can be recurred.
Mortus Strider and Myr Servitor for recurrable creatures to sacrifice/chump block.
Tortured Existence could be an option for pitching things we don't need to recur things we do need.
