This deck is a white-blue version of my deck Thou Shalt Not, which focuses on controlling the opponent while poking him with 1/1 merfolk tokens. This deck takes it a step further, making me gain life when I counter spells with my merfolk, so I don't have to worry as much about creatures that make it through. Coralhelm Commander also makes my tokens bigger, though the sorcery limitation of leveling is quite annoying. Merrow Commerce allows me to attack on my turn, and also counter spells on their turn, or just use tokens to block.
