The point of the deck is to draw out your deck and winning the game with Laboratory Maniac. To win you need to have either Midnight Guard or Sunstrike Legionnaire on the battlefield with Vedalken Archmage and either Ornithopter or Phyrexian Walker, Retraction Helix in hand, at least one Laboratory Maniac in your library (or hand), and finally have two blue and two generic mana open. First you cast Retraction Helix targeting either Midnight Guard or Sunstrike Legionnaire. Then you tap either Midnight Guard or Sunstrike Legionnaire to return either Ornithopter or Phyrexian Walker to your hand. Then proceed to play either Ornithopter or Phyrexian Walker from your hand drawing you a card off of Vedalken Archmage. Repeat this process until you draw into Laboratory Maniac. Cast Laboratory Maniac with the remaining one blue and two generic mana and continue to draw out the deck and win. Feed back and advice is more than welcome.
