Sideboard

Hey all, Tyberious here. So here we have a deck that I've been thinking about for a little bit, centred around two of my favourite cards. Circu, Dimir Lobotomist and Ashiok, the Nightmare Weaver. Both of these cards have a somewhat similar idea behind them, repeatedly exiling cards from the top of your opponents deck for value. For Ashiok the value is fairly straightforward, if she hits a creature you can later steal it, for Circu the value is more sinister. Any copies of a card that has been exiled by Circu can't be cast.

Both of these effects, while powerful, are high variance, it all depends on what your opponent has got on top of his/her deck. If you hit a land or a spell of little value (or simply something that isn't a creature with Ashiok) then the effect is pretty dull, however, if you hit their game winning piece, their most powerful hate card or a central creature than the effect can be devastating and at times even crippling. This deck attempts to mitigate the effects by either knowing it advance what your opponent's top deck is (via Dimir Charm, or Lantern of Insight) or more commonly by bouncing important spells to the top of the deck. Both of these strategies have the side effect of slowing the opponent down, which is helpful as winning with Circu and Ashiok is a pretty slow way to win.

The rest of the deck is a control shell, splashing white for Sphinx's Revelation, Supreme Verdict and important sideboard tech.

I hope you enjoy :)
