Sideboard

"Prepare yourselves, the bells have tolled! Shelter your weak, your young and your old! Each of you shall pay the final sum! Cry for mercy; the reckoning has come!"

Behold the heralds of the apocalypse my friends. This army of demons and their servants, as well as the mix of burn and artifact hate make this deck ideal if you want your opponent to suffer and beg for mercy before you finally end them. In the beginning, you stall for time in order to prepare your horde by burning away any artifacts or creatures that you deem an annoyance. Then once that is done you unleash your legions of hell upon your enemy and watch them cower in fear before you, and after your victory is assured you can leave your opponent with a few parting words. Fire consumes! You've tried and failed. Let there be no doubt, justice prevailed!

The Armies of Doom:

  • Master of Cruelties: While this guy may cost 5 mana, he comes with the death strike combo which automatically discourages blocking him so attacking with him alone isn't really a problem, and if your opponent decides to let him through then the game is over.
  • Olivia, Mobilized for War: Makes this deck much faster overall and gives your demons a free counter.
  • Rakdos, Lord of Riots : A massive demon that comes with flying, trample, and he can make your other beaters cost less to cast.
  • Desecration Demon : Just like Rakdos, he's a big creature for only 4 mana, and while your opponent does have a way of slowing him down, that will only make him stronger.
  • Ob Nixilis, Unshackled : This guy stops your opponent from using fetch lands, or any sort of tutor which locks them out of so many options.
  • Dragonlord Kolaghan: What army would be complete without a dragon? He also has some very good synergy with your removal, because if your opponent decides to play another creature that they already have on the field, then you can just kill the original, it enters the grave, and because that card is in the grave before the duplicate card resolves Kologhan will deal 10 damage to that player.

Words of Wisdom:

Now this deck doesn't have very much defense against other removal spells so control is something to watch out for, and sometimes the deck can be a little slow which gives plenty of time for a fast aggro deck to murder you. If you enjoyed the deck then feel free to give a +1 upvote if you want to, and any suggestions are appreciated.
