And what a glorious win that would've been.

stupid Seal of Primordium....

klone13 I was thinking more 1 Taz for 1 Maelstrom Pulse because it's my only hit-all removal, and that's been extremely valuable for me in the last couple matches. Should I put another Thrag as well? There's already 11 creatures...

Jesus, idk what you should remove but one more thrag would be great.

June 2, 2015 7:10 p.m.

Well I'm open to suggestions :)

-1 Serum Visions, and maybe add Dimir Charm. Also Sun Droplet for burn...

June 2, 2015 7:18 p.m.

Charm is interesting, but I feel a bit lacking in options... I'll try it out. Burn is a terrible match-up, end of story, and I will not add cards that only help it. I'll think about the change though.

Ya but what if you end up investing in this deck? Then u auto lose to burn.

June 2, 2015 7:22 p.m.

As in buying it? Never going to happen XD

You could also try -1 inquisition of kozilek.

So -1 IoK, -1 Serum Visions

+1 Dimir Charm, +1 Thragtusk

Oh lol. Ok then.

Testing time!

+1 because this is actual 4 color control. It isn't grixis with green for goyf. It isn't BUG with red for bolt. This deck actually makes more than a splash use for each color. I really like it.

I think Hummingbird means it's not Grixis+Goyf, but I get the concept.

Serendipitous_Hummingbird Thanks man! I try.

Electrolyze seems shitty at one. Maybe take it out for another Kolaghan's Command?

June 7, 2015 10:14 a.m.

It's mostly for the Souls and other one-power creatures that we're seeing right now, but Command is definitely the better card... I'll try it out!

So, spoiler alert: this deck is too strong.

June 8, 2015 8:39 p.m.

XD

June 8, 2015 8:47 p.m.

6tennis, that's what it was for :)

Tennis, klone13, SirFowler, Runlue, bigguy99, elpokitolama, what do you guys think of the new version? It felt much more stable in testing.

June 12, 2015 4:34 p.m.

you make me so horny

How about Dragon's Claw in the side board? Your worst matchup s burn, and that's pretty much the only one card that would enable you to stay alive long enough to In a game. :>

Shaddap derpy, don't tease the melon :<

June 12, 2015 4:41 p.m.

Lama, Derp's never going to stop. I lost hope months ago XD

And we actually already had this conversation before the last update, but burn isn't a bad match-up, burn is a hopeless match-up. Especially now that I've decided to adjust my landbase for Cryptic Command. So essentially, I'd rather just fold straight away to it and make my sideboard stronger against other match-ups.

June 12, 2015 4:45 p.m.

@elpokitolama "don't tease the melon"! lol! laughed so hard!

He's got Spellskite. I think he should be fine.

Anyway, HOLY SHITE. CHANGES, M8.

Having only 2 Mana Leaks just doesn't feel right. I'd bump them up to 4 for consistency, and drop the Cryptic Command and Kolaghan's Command. I feel like Kolaghan's Command is outshined by other cards in the deck, and Cryptic Command is just silliness. In terms of SB tech, I don't think Firespout is really that worth it. I'd replace them for Damnations.

(Don't take this next part seriously.) Also worth mentioning, is that Underworld Cerberus is amazing graveyard hate, because Cruel Ultimatum doesn't target cards in graveyards, meaning you can still return a Snapcaster Mage with an Ultimatum.

Other than that, I look forward to the day when I can beat this.

June 12, 2015 4:53 p.m.

I really won't be fine against burn guys... XD

Anyhow, yeah, CHANGE IS IN THE AIR!!!

Mana Leak is probably not going up. This deck, as you could attest while playing it, is extremely grindy, meaning that the games usually go for pretty long. In our game, you had around 9 lands near the end, meaning that Cryptic would be much more potent than a Leak. Kolaghan's is just here for the overall terrific utility it offers. Sideboard-speaking though, I can see where you're coming from with Firespout, so I think that I'll make that change.

And of course Underworld Cerberus is amazing!!!
