As you can see, Sisay likes to search.
As you can see, the deck has a lot of fun things you can search for.
Not to sound opinionated, but EDH is the most fun format (haymakers and synergies and political tension and plot twists and on and on and on) and consequentially, I'm usually looking at cards through a very specific lens. Being that my style of play is to build up my board and utilize really nifty interactions between my own spells, Commander is especially appealing in that you have one spell that you can cast consistently that facilitates your gameplay. Enter Captain Sisay.Seeing Sisay, I figured it would be fun to be able to sculpt my hand, and initially I just searched for legendary creatures to throw out big things, but then I got a little more selective and now the deck has lots of fun things it can do (hasty, recursive Kozilek and Seedborn Muse + Winding Canyons + Sisay, to name a few). At present, it seems the deck could improve most notably in two ways. One is by being able to give Sisay haste and/or protection, as she has a huge target on her back, and usually doesn't make it a full pass around the table without drawing some sort of demise. The other is by having more cool/fun/good things to search for, namely land. Since adding Hall of the Bandit Lord, I've found it quite useful to be able to search for land when the well has run dry, so to speak.
IN: Reliquary Tower
Turns out that adding Greater Good gives you a metric crap-ton of serious stuff to do with 14 cards.
Pretty much just strict upgrades. Better lands, better fetches, better things to fetch.
I like to draw, need land I can tutor for.
Out: Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker
In: Rampant Growth
Never want to search for Michiko Konda, always want to search for more land.
you should take out cultivate, harmonize, regrowth and harrow and call it EDH of long card names. +1 from me :-)
Well, part of why I got so excited about building the deck was that my legendary spells would all have such cool names.
Ah yeah that figures, it would be too insane. I didn't know it was on the banlist, but that makes sense.
