wait wouldn't the creatures milled by Epic Experiment not be in the graveyard when you try to cast the free reanimation spells?

Also Slagstorm will be rotated when this deck hits standard.

ahh Demarge makes a very good point. a lot of these new cards require very careful read thous

That misreading kills the deck.

No, your wrong. It says: "put all cards exiled this way that where not cast into your GRAVEYARD" :).

actually if you read the whole card from top to bottom and not just bits at a time it says to cast your instants or sorcs and THEN put the rest into the grave. therefore at the time of casting your instants/sorcs your grave is EMPTY

Yeah, I know. That's what Mulch and Faithless Looting are for. You put fatties into your graveyard, then use Epic Experiment :).

In any case you should make it clearer, and redo the description.

Arbor Elf is no good here. I would rather have card:Avacyn's Pilgrim or something. You only have 3 forests that could be untapped.

Your right. I keep thinking that Arbor Elf does the same thing as Llanowar Elves :(.

that would be better. My biggest problem in playtesting has been the consistancy of the mana. It needs a better land base. i would take our card:Krenko's Command and add some Chromatic Lantern s Also Carnival Hellsteed seems a bit on the weak end.

yeah is Mulch and Faithless Looting are your engine then it needs more green producers.

What should I replace Carnival Hellsteed with?

I need to replace it with a fattie. I'll barely have any if I do that.

you have plenty of creatures. The only times I have gotten your deck to work so far are when i get Chromatic Lantern s, Faithless Looting s and the land to cast them.

I really think you should have card:Avacyn's Pilgrim replace Arbor Elf , for a couple reasons. One is that I think that if someone destroys your Gilded Lotus then you need something else to generate White Mana, the other reason is that you only have 3 Forests.

Which leads me to the other thing, I think you should have at least 1 Plains and 2 Evolving Wilds and possibly more green generating land, because you only have 6 and your First and Second Turn cards are green.

Otherwise I really like it.

Never Mind about the Pilgim... I think I might have got detracted and saw Arbor Elf somewhere else.

September 14, 2012 3:35 p.m.

This a pretty great standard reanimator idea, "epic" work sir.

@squire1 , I'll try out your idea :).

September 14, 2012 7:18 p.m.

Wabbbit says... #24

You think if I did that, I would STILL have enough fatties?

September 14, 2012 7:20 p.m.

Kravian says... #25

You could try Avacyn, Angel of Hope as a fattie. And she synergizes with Defy Death .
