This deck wins with just about anything that involves charge counters. Fog Bank is always annoying and will stall the game. Your counter magic will provide effective means of blocking out other decks. Also this deck surprisingly mulligans effectively, since you are looking for a Paradox Haze and either Shrine of Burning Rage or Darksteel Reactor. All of the other cards are means of getting to the win faster.

Now, I have included cards in the sideboard that will assist in many matchups. However, one type of deck can not be avoided as a bad matchup. That deck is infect. Blue doesn't have many answers to infect and that pesky Inkmoth Nexus so the best way to answer it is to board in every Pithing Needle you have.

Soul of New Phyrexia actually is there for a control mirror or abzan. making your permanents indestructible will keep the pace going in your favor.
