This deck primarily focuses around the unblockable Tormented Soul. You will send out a Primordial Hydra or equally terrifying creature to distract the opponent from the Tormented Soul, then transfer all of the hydra's counters to your unblockable card for a huge swing.

If your hydra is killed before you can do this, use your instants and Increasing Savagery to produce a terrifying unblockable creature. Used in conjunction with a Sword of Body and Mind, you can cause the opponent some real trouble.

Even further still, if you're lucky enough to get the Tainted Strike, use the above strategies to buff the tormented soul, then use Tainted Strike for the kill-shot.

Every monster besides tormented soul is purely for distraction.
