I have a very similar deck. I think yours would work better with Overgrown Battlement instead of the birds, or at least substituting two birds for two Battlements, since the Battlements stack nicely with your Sylvan Caryatid. Other than that, I wondered, who do you manage to defend against heavily flying decks?

@Oakenwind Thanks for the feedback. I like running a playset of birds for the mana diversity, 1-drop spot, and late game flying blocker for when I don't need the mana. Heavy flying decks are tough, should I try to include some flying removal in the sideboard, like Skyreaping?

Hey, Skyreaping is pretty rad. Also good against flyers in general work: Gravity Well, which does, of course, not remove them, but solves the problem long-time. A more expensive, but repeatable version of Skyreaping. is the Silklash Spider, which I sideboard, becaus it's pretty cheap-money wise, does the trick well and also synergies well with Doran as a 2/7. Apart from that, Cloudcrown Oak has reach, so he's cool if there's only two or three smaller creatures that fly and you don't have to give away creature damage. Apart from that, there's also Plummet. Lots of input for a sideboard, I know :>

@Oakenwind, I really appreciate the suggestions! I'll try to incorporate those in my sideboard.

Have a Doran deck? Need flying help? Your best friend is Tower Defense.

@DobeNode, I have never actually seen that card. Thank you for opening my eyes, good sir.

Is there any reason you run Ultimate Price over Path to Exile? The latter gives a land, but it can deal with so much more than the former.

What would you recommend I take out?

@Teal_Fox, Thanks for the suggestion. I was thinking about that before, I just kind of forgot about it. I'll switch the two out.

Skinshifter to be a 8/8 beat stick when Doran is out, may not be treefolk, but too good to pass up.

Skinshifter is a shaman so procs on Leaf-Crowned Elder, fucking outrageous XD

Maybe you should run less removal and more hand disrruption or a draw engine.

@wishp Yeah, Skinshifter was a great suggestion. I might run hand disruption, but I like having a decent amount of removal. Thanks for the feedback!

lol, i love doran. made a tiny leaders treefolk tribal deck with him

January 24, 2015 8 p.m.

Indomitable Ancients Is insane in conjunction with Doran. Just something to consider.

@cannon_Spectacle I used to have that in here, but i removed it for Skinshifter. The two white in the Indomitable Ancients's mana cost was a bit of a problem sometimes, and I like the diversity of Skinshifter when doran isn't out. Then again, Indomitable Ancients does fit the tribe and does a bit more damage with doran.

Have you considered using Tasigur? He has decent synergy due to being a shaman.

January 25, 2015 5:24 p.m.

Meat says... #20

@butlersex I appreciate the suggestion, but I don't think he would quite fit into the deck. I don't really have any cards that benefit from having a large graveyard, and his cost is a bit steep because I usually won't have too many cards in the graveyard.

Do you really need O-Ring? More Abrupt Decay or Path to Exile might work better, or even some draw. I'm not feeling Go for the Throat too much either.

January 27, 2015 3:52 p.m.

Meat says... #22

@bigguy99, I've debated keeping those in, but I like always having an easy way to get rid of creatures that are causing me trouble. I'll consider taking them out, though.

January 27, 2015 3:55 p.m.

bigguy99 says... #23

I was just thinking that everything that dies to either of those also dies to O-Ring so it's a bit redundant in addition to the fact that it can get removed later. It's also more mana investment on your turn (do non-control decks even care about that?). If it works for you then by all means keep it in, but I don't have much experience with it so I was just wondering.

@bigguy99, Should I replace Sapling of Colfenor in my sideboard with O-ring, and add more Path to Exile or Abrupt Decay? I could also add two Siege Rhinos.
