I'm thinking Flayer of the HateboundMTG Card: Flayer of the Hatebound will be more beneficial than the Rage ThrowerMTG Card: Rage Thrower overall. They have the same mana cost and P/T. But the flayer is more resistant, having undying himself, and because you have so much undying he will probably hit for more damage overall throughout the course of a game than the thrower will (or at least the same). Also since this deck does curve out fairly high (almost half of your nonlands are CMC 4 or greater) I would consider playing Birds of ParadiseMTG Card: Birds of Paradise or Llanowar ElvesMTG Card: Llanowar Elves or both. Just a couple thoughts I had. Like the idea though +1.

Yes i can see putting in the Birds of ParadiseMTG Card: Birds of Paradise and/or Llanowar ElvesMTG Card: Llanowar Elves but Rage ThrowerMTG Card: Rage Thrower deals damage to target player if even your opponents creatures dies

True, but to remove flayer they have to be willing to take a shot for 5 and still use two removal spells (unless they are white and Celestial PurgeMTG Card: Celestial Purge/Oblivion RingMTG Card: Oblivion Ring him). Thrower dies to almost every single removal spell in standard with the exception of maybe Gut ShotMTG Card: Gut Shot. And if they kill him the moment he hits the field it is a major tempo swing to their advantage and you accomplished nothing except getting rid of one piece of their removal (a small effect for the 6 mana price). It may seem like thrower will deal more damage overall if he sticks but the fact is that he will not be sticking around very long versus the great majority of standard decks. Also, flayer can shoot creatures. Making you opponent very wary of killing any of your dudes, for fear of their own, while flayer is on board. Also they cannot easily attack you while you have a flayer on the feield since you just block anywhere with your guys and rack up 8-10 flayer damage that you can use to finish off their field or just shoot them in the face for game. He also in a way makes your guys psudo-unblockable since if they block and kill your guy, you just shoot them for one more than the creature would have done unblocked. Do what you want but it really seems like more flayers (Maybe a 3 flayer 2 thrower split?) is the better option especially for this particular build.

Thanks for the explanation i think i may do 2 flayers and 3 rage throwers while sideboarding another flayer. Thanks for the input. (but first i have to get 1 more but shouldn't be that hard i have my resoures) I also need more for my Sideboard anyways

Any suggestions what to take out for Llanowar ElvesMTG Card: Llanowar Elves

The Wild HungerMTG Card: Wild Hungers and Jar of EyeballsMTG Card: Jar of Eyeballs don't seem entirely necessary and seem like the best options for replacement by elves. Jar feels more like a control type card. And this deck wants to spam as many dudes to the field as quickly as possible. If I had it and another card from this deck sitting in my hand during a game I would never play it over the other card (with the exception of Rolling TemblorMTG Card: Rolling Temblor). And the hungers just feel like overkill. Most of your dudes will be unblocked already due to Pyreheart WolfMTG Card: Pyreheart Wolf so the trample effect is hardly worth it (also since the blocked dudes are being blocked by two or more you will not likely break through their combined toughness even with the additional +3). And 3 power for 3 mana is not the greatest pump there is. And pump of any type just does not feel quite right in this deck. Might I ask your reasons for including it in the first place?

Well i needed a filler and with the flashback on hungers and i dont have the money just to go out and buy cards but i will definitly put in the Llanowar ElvesMTG Card: Llanowar Elves

hmm. This deck has potential but needs a few changed to be considered tourny ready imo. I have a very very similar deck if you'd like to take a look at it. Flayer of the HateboundMTG Card: Flayer of the Hatebound is crucial to the deck. Undying Aggro Burn check it out may help.

Yes i like your deck as they are very similar. But no body wants to trade me a VorapedeMTG Card: Vorapede in my group of friends (either dont have one or are using it)

im working on getting 1 or 2 more Flayer of the HateboundMTG Card: Flayer of the Hatebound(s) and at one point i did have a Moonveil DragonMTG Card: Moonveil Dragon but it found it to be kinda meh

I do like the blasphemous acts as they are board wipes and with undying it is very ,as they put it, "trollish"

My Ulvenwald TrackerMTG Card: Ulvenwald Trackers take care if the issue with flying and is repeatable unlike shock, fling etc

Thanks for the insight Praag and MrQuestionMark

Honestly I think the Rolling TemblorMTG Card: Rolling Temblors need to go. They kill everything in your deck that make it good.

Up the Llanowar ElvesMTG Card: Llanowar Elves to 4 because they're necessary to get out your bigger stuff faster.

Also I would work on aquiring a couple more HellriderMTG Card: Hellriders as it is a really good card especially in an aggro format like you're running, as well as it doesn't matter if your creatures die due to the fact that they come back with undying and it forces them to get rid of it using one of their kill spells.

I also think that Nightshade PeddlerMTG Card: Nightshade Peddler could be pretty good in this deck because if they block a creature with undying, not only do they lose their creature but it comes back in which case you can re-pair the creature with it because it enters the battlefield again, allowing you to pair it.

Move the Bonfire of the Damned MTG Card: Bonfire of the Damned to mainboard as it is an amazing card, not only a burn spell but a field wipe for them, too good not to be in the mainboard.

Last but not least I think some burn spells are needed as this is red/green aggro and you want to kill them fast by carving a way through their creatures. FlingMTG Card: Fling would be really good in this deck because you can just fling a creature with undying and it comes back anyway. Also IncinerateMTG Card: Incinerate is really good in the current metagame.

Forgot about this, Hex ParasiteMTG Card: Hex Parasite could be really good in this deck considering if a creature comes back with undying you can remove the counter and then it gets to die and come back again. Just a thought.

+1 for a good idea and an altogether seemingly fun deck to play with.

Another thought, you might consider adding some ramp cards since you have 5, 6 drops, I would recommend either Rampant GrowthMTG Card: Rampant Growth or Sphere of the SunsMTG Card: Sphere of the Suns. Both really good ramp cards in standard right now.

+1, I love some good R/G Aggro, consider this, Champion of Lambholt MTG Card: Champion of Lambholt over Pyreheart WolfMTG Card: Pyreheart Wolf, I know you're going for undying but the creatures re-entering the battfield could make your whole army unblockable. Just a thought. If you don't mind, take a look at Hellrider's Hunt.

May 23, 2012 7:53 p.m.

Hydrabeast says... #17

True i do like Champion of Lambholt as it makes all creatures eventually unblockable but i like the undying part as it actavates Flayer of the Hatebound but i may go halfway by going 2-2 champion wolf maybe thanks for the feedback.

Maybe -1 Ulvenwald Tracker for +1 Hellrider since you don't really want more than one Fight Bear on the field at a time, and Hellrider stacks for some mean damage

May 24, 2012 6:28 p.m.

Hydrabeast says... #19

i dont get why you wouldnt want more than 1 Ulvenwald Tracker on the battle field because then u can kill something off if needed and u can get rid of blockers but i do like Hellrider but I think right now it will stay as it is becuz its working just as i want it

I used to have them in there but then i found out tht 2 toughness is dumb especially with Pillar of Flame and it didnt work the best in the mana curve and Vorapede s replaced them

Oh, okay. Vorapede makes much more sense.
