Adding Clancaller —Oct. 10, 2018
After some play-testing, I am making the following mainboard changes.
-2 Elvish Visionary -1 Selfless spirit (going to sideboard) -1 Eternal Witness -2 Chord of Calling
+4 Elvish Clancaller +2 Lead the Stampede
I am going to tune the sideboard as well, but I am not sure where I will make the changes.

phDaemon I like that card in EDH, but it seems a tad slow/overcosted for modern. I might test online with one of them in my non-creature slot and see how it performs. Thanks for the suggestion.

Phillygreenman007 That is a good suggestion. I will test that out. I mainly splash white for sideboard options. Also, I currently prefer the Selfless Spirit because it can be grabbed by Collected Company. Also I can tutor it out with Chord of Calling sometimes in response to a board wipe. I will definitely check out Heroic Intervention and add it to the cards to test with.

I enjoy 2x Throne of the God-Pharaoh in my GB Elf deck. It can definitely hurt your opponent.
Also Chameleon Colossus is a good 1of in elf side

ZorrosRage I have been trying out Throne of the God-Pharaoh in this deck. I think it might be good in the sideboard against control. I think I should add Chameleon Colossus as well, especially if Death's Shadow continues to be popular in my local meta.

I have considered it xEleven. The problem is that I cannot tutor it out with Chord of Calling and I cannot hit it with Collected Company, so for now I have opted to run Selfless Spirit. However, I might add one to the sideboard and try it out. Thank you for the suggestion.

http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/modern-abzan-elvish-throne/ here's my list I run at every modern event I go to. As far as Throne it's concerned it's almost a staple at this point it turns Heritage druid ability and the game 3 Mana opponents lose 3 life. That's the key text just like Shaman of the pack lose 3 life it gets around worship ensnaring Bridge ghostly prison big blockers you don't want to lose elves to. Turn 4 kills with out ever attacking

Wubyxx Thanks again for the suggestions. I have been running two Throne of the God-Pharaohs in online testing and it works great. I am considering cutting one copy of Chord of Calling and an Elvish Visionary to run 2 in my paper. What do you think? Any ideas on what to cut? Also, I have been testing Driven / Despair and it is insane when i cast it on T3 or T4 with a wide board. I might cut a 2nd copy of Chord of Calling to run a single copy.

You're welcome I'm glad the suggestions of helped as far as cutting cords I wouldn't you need to cast the Silver Bullets. I like the split card maybe as a 1 of but you want to kill them as quick as possible so maybe in the late game it'll work out but it takes up a spot early
Here's what I've done this week with playtesting and this is worked out fairly decent third turn kills https://www.tappedout.net/mtg-decks/modern-abzan-elvish-throne/?cb=1524566672

BobJeph I might get a play set at some point, but right now I am holding off. In a lot of situations Blooming Marsh functions the same so I am happy with it for now. I appreciate the suggestion!

BobJeph I have considered that combo but don't want to shift that way yet. It seems to be doing well lately with the addition of the angel that gives everything hexproof. I am going to revisit it in a couple of months. Thanks for the quality suggestions.

Corpral_C I am slowly foiling cheaper pieces of the deck. It is a bad habit. :p I will probably stop after foiling all the creatures.

I would strongly urge you to use the combo with Vizier of Remedies and Devoted Druid. It is simply so powerful and incredibly easy to assemble. Devoted Druid can even combo off with Ezuri, Renegade Leader without Vizier of Remedies. Take a look at my deck Budget-ish Modern Elves to see what your deck would be similar to if you used the combo. Feel free to playtest with my deck as much as you want and I'd always love suggestions or feedback on my deck as well!

Thanks ModernStormPlayer996 I am going to test that out and see how I like it! Also I enjoyed looking at your deck. Glad to see Elves getting even better.
