Sideboard

A bit slow to test and update, this is what I'm testing at these days. Ish.

Nothing terribly special going on here; find your way through to making Champion of Lambholt or Kalonian Hydra your main offense, while, inevitably, your flying tokens are pretty annoying as well.

Aether Vial + Champion of Lambholt means creatures are just maybe that much easier to drop while if you need your Altar's Reap or Otherworldly Journey for a boost, chances remain rather good that two more creatures hitting plus a counter from somewhere else is right around the bend. And you'll either be pinging the whole way or blocking until they've spent their removal suite and you have now used Summoner's Pact for a Kalonian.

Lots of draw. Play it whenever possible, unless holding off on the Altar's Reap because a Lambholt is on and you've got a (potentially free) Doomed Traveler.

Don't underestimate the Kitchen Finks with all the counters around to canel out the Persist counter.Resilliance is less the name of the game here, as it was with my Nykthos version of this, than, "Hey, there's a Lambholt and next turn she's a 4/4".

My biggest "if" is the Deranged Outcast . For now, that's just gonna be the one of in the deck that might take an extra turn to plan for. It helps with sacing a Traveler just to get another creature to hit, at the right time, for sure.

Now, I know what you're thinking: Lambholt is kinda slow. You might be all too right. Nonetheless, I'm hoping that in my friendly meta, at least, you're going to regret not taking it out. And, of course, as soon as anyone realizes Kalonians are around, removal becomes a pretty precious thing. I've chosen the maindeck removal suite I have-- Otherworldly Journey partially included-- both for protection and to rid the board of any creatures that may be tough enough to render the Lambholt useless. Guess we'll see how it goes.

Updates Add

Yep. My Lambholt deck is not a Nykthos deck. Maindeck protection, add some counters, suck the life out of their removal suite. Seems better.
