"'Cause the world keeps spinnin'

The sun won't shine on my face

I'ma keep it moving

Got a hundred things I gotta do today..."

-Khalid, "Hundred"

Ajani, Mentor of Heroes / Rishkar's Expertise Oathbreaker. Thematically about acceptance, letting go of stress and anxiety, and just going with the flow. Life ain't easy, life goes up and down, but the key is in moving forward and growing stronger. This is reflected in Ajani's abilities and the mechanical focus of the deck: +1/+1 counters. The central gameplan is about using classic white/green tools like landfall and tokens in order to dominate the boardstate, and using our signature spell to keep our hand stocked full of cards. We aim to:

-start the game by ramping aggressively into our commander, slowing everyone else down with disruptive hatebears like Aven Mindcensor and Thalia, Heretic Cathar

-cast Ajani on curve then untapping with him to cast a big Rishkar's Expertise (with the help of Ajani's plus ability) to restock our hand and hit a free 4 or 5 drop

-dominate the boardstate with flyers and +1/+1 counters, disrupting our opponents with creatures like Angel of Jubilation and Linvala, Keeper of Silence and using the flyers to pick off Planeswalkers to keep people off of their signature spells

"Life is never easy when you need it to be

Try to knock me down, but I get back on my feet..."
