This is my main monoblack deck, specifically tested for FFA EDH instead of 1-vs-1. The main strategy is lockdown and control the opponents with Sheoldred, Whispering One and Smokestack , also Infernal Darkness in early stages to maintain the domain of the board, with Painful Quandary I mill the hands or life of the players if they want to play something.

To adquire the advantage, my draw engine is a Reliquary Tower + Necropotence and if I have Vilis, Broker of Blood better.

Other options are Buried Alive in first turns to throw to the graveyard the big creatures of the deck: Pathrazer of Ulamog , Vilis, Broker of Blood and the third one is situational, could be Rune-Scarred Demon , Platinum Angel or Maralen of the Mornsong , play Reanimate / Animate Dead / Necromancy and get a big presence on the table at turn 3-4.

Finishers are: Torment of Hailfire + Cabal Coffers in late game, generating an insane amount of mana to obliterate all opponents.

Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond the classic black combo

Phage the Untouchable + Lightning Greaves in a critical and specific moment of the match.
