Upcoming Ballista Combo Deck Brew

Combination of Animation Module & Rishkar, Peema Renegade leads to a lot of tokens with counters, that generate huge amounts of mana. Well supported by Nissa, Voice of Zendikar , Winding Constrictor and Verdurous Gearhulk.

Walking Ballista gets counters from everywhere and, with the many mana available, interacts lethal with Lifecraft Awakening . Or Walking Ballista pumps itself easily with tons of mana. And the finest thing at all is the wording on the card: It doesn't shoot X damage, but X consecutive times 1 damage. Therefore even cards like Disallow and Summary Dismissal can avoid only one damage by countering one of the activations.

Tezzeret the Schemer as one-of adds another heap of mana to the pool and helps to trigger revolt for Fatal Push.

Herald of Anguish can be played very cheap because of either a lot of mana or a lot of artifacts for Improvise.

Looking forward to play against Jeskai CopyCat combo deck, there are three Fatal Push and three Grasp of Darkness. Revolt gets supported by Evolving Wilds, Walking Ballista and Tezzeret tokens. If that's not enough there is another copy of each shot in sideboard, and additional Revolt triggers with two Vessel of Nascency.

When not playing against the Combo Grasp of Darkness will be replaced by the slower Battle at the Bridge, which can produce a lot of life-gain. Thus it may compensate some foregoing attacks and helps to spare artifacts and artifacts token by not being forced to Jump-Block.

Updates Add

Playing this deck for almost a week now lead to the following adaptions:

Tezzeret the Schemer impact on the board is very marginal in this deck. Also the two Herald of Anguish got removed completely. These three cards were replaced by 3 Tireless Tracker, which fit much better into deck. He easily produces counters by himself (for mana in combination with Rishkar, Peema Renegade) and the glue tokens support Revolt.

The Ornithopter made a very well job, but as i have lounging around 2 Heart of Kiran, i think they will make an even more impressive job.

As additional sideboard strategy i added now 4 Invasive Surgery against sorcery speed sweepers, such as Fumigate.

If the upcoming ProTour doesn't show up some very unexpecting and exciting cards for this deck, i think this cut will make it to my next gameday.
