Minor Changes —Sept. 14, 2017

Been experimenting with taking a few cards in and out of the deck. I took Xenagos out of the deck for a while but did find I missed him. He does help close out games and he's just a pet card of mine for aggro so he's back in. Couple changes I've settled on:

Explosive Vegetation --->Fellwar Stone: I needed another low CMC mana source. So I can be casting my dragons a little earlier. Explosive Vegetation is a great fixer but moved a bit too slow.

Whip of Erebos --->Living Death: Whip again moved a little too slowly. The lifelink is great though. Living Death creates a terrifying board presence all at once. If I have Temur Ascendancy, Dragon Tempest, or Dragonlord Kolaghan out it is game over. I may try to fit the Whip in somewhere again.

Couple cards I'm still thinking of including: Intet, the Dreamer for card advantage, Sarkhan's Triumph for tutoring right to the hand, and Herald's Horn as a possible replacement for Dragonspeaker Shaman as it is an artifact and more resilient against removal.

plasmor99, they were here but have both been cut. Dragonlord's Servant was cut for Urza's Incubator which gives a better cost reduction and is an artifact (less vulnerable to removal). Fist of Suns only really gave me a deduction with casting my Commander...that's nice...but I rather run other ramp spells that can be used on anything. Thanks for the suggestions :)

I think you underestimate Fist of Suns. Getting it out and being able to cast your commander is amazing. He is a huge draw engine and lets u play a card for free. complete gamechanger once he comes out. Also i think Intet, the Dreamer and Scion of the Ur-Dragon deserve a spot. Intet also lets you play cards for three measly mana and scion is another gamechanger. From the last few games ive played these cards have completely changed the game in my favor.

I run a few Tutors and Fist of Suns is my go to card for the same reasons..anything that can get the Big D out fast is an auto-include in my book.

Revenantmike and Rabid_Wombat: I've thrown in Intet. I was on the fence about him but I think he's worth trying out for the card advantage he generates. You may be right about Fist of Suns. I just don't know which ramp card to cut to make room. I'm hesitant to cut the ramp cards that fix my colours or reduce the cost of my dragons. I'm thinking maybe Mirari's Wake? Fantastic card though...I dunno lol. Fist of Suns is on the maybelist now though.

As an absurd but hilarious idea, have you thought about minimising the number of dragons and running Conspiracy

Utvara Hellkite + Silumgar, the Drifting Death

Is love, and leaves me deeply desiring more dragons with the trigger "Whenever a dragon you control attacks"
