This is a pretty classic take on Brago Stax. Extremely oppressive, the kinda stuff you lose friends over. But hey, that's the way Brago plays best. Initially, I was trying to make it viable with The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale because I happen to own a pair right now, but it isn't entirely fitting. We'll have to save that for Urza Stax or something else. If you have any other solid ideas for a low creature / creatureless Commander deck to use The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale with, please let me know!

Some weird/interesting inclusions right now... Annul for a pesky mana rock of an opponent on turn 1 potentially. Blue Elemental Blast to hit a Dockside Extortionist before any crazy ass treaure loops start happening on an opponent's board. I've moved Steelshaper's Gift in and out of this deck so many times in order to find Lightning Greaves early, at the moment it appears to be out. I am also liking Stern Proctor a lot because he comes out early, and can put opponent's mana rocks or other stuff back in their hand to potentially be Annul'd or to a board state now under Trinisphere, Tangle Wire, Static Orb, or Sphere of Resistance.

I'm also considering removing Parallax Wave because the stack interaction to permanently remove the lands when in the Strionic Resonator loop just seems janky and I feel like someone is gonna slash my tires on my car if I try it. I might go with something cheaper for removal in that slot, I don't know yet.

Peregrine Drake and Mulldrifter are currently out because I'm tuned for a super low mana curve, although the former is a total house in this deck. Time will tell I guess. Swan Song is also a strange card not to see in this deck, but the last thing I want to create is a flying blocker.

Grand Abolisher and Detention Sphere want in right now, just gotta keep testing and figure out what to cut, etc.

Transmute Artifact needs to be in here, but I don't own it and I'm having trouble justifying the cost right now since I don't play that often.

Anyway, let me know what you think. I'm a huge Stax fan, I've always gravitated toward prison decks and Winter Orb has always been MY CARD.

I am also heavily considering playing Smokestack right now in here. It's certainly on theme! Thoughts?
