How do you find Torment of Scarabs working for you? It is the type of effect I would LOVE in my deck, but I fear dedicating 4 mana to a sorcery speed spell early in the game that doesn't have an immediate effect.
I would like to hear it works out fine or how to not stumble in those ever important early rounds.

In this deck it is doing great. With the control pack this deck has the chose every turn put the user in a bad spot. The user normal take 3 for the first few times but after there hand is empty and they have nothing on the field it is a good clock and put them in a Torment of Hailfire or Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh -4 range.

The deck looks really sweet. Have you considered running 1-2 Glorybringers in the sideboard so when people side out their removal you can punish them?

Thank you for the feedback. Glorybringer is nice but I would like to keep it Creature free.

That's fine if that's what you're trying to go for. Doomfall might also be a good consideration over To the Slaughter in the sideboard. Yes it doesn't kill planeswalkers, but the versatility of hand disruption and a sac spell is pretty nice. Though that may come down to meta.
