One card change —July 15, 2015

So Blasting Station was one that I definitely had my eye on and it still manages to come in under the budget...removed Breeding Pit and cleared comments.

Please do look up the specific interaction of Endrek and Maga. Normally, you would be correct. X is 0 everywhere except on the stack, which is exactly where endrek looks to generate his tokens.

Maga makes X tokens, not 0.

See this post for a relevant interaction: http://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/magic-fundamentals/magic-rulings/599132-x-spells-on-the-stack

Replace Eidolon with Endrek and you can see how this works

@illumfolly Thanks for clearing that up. Will know that for the future now. That being said I still don't see the value of Maga in a deck like this. I see it in a heavy ramp deck where you have Exsanguinate and spells like it or MAYBE in a 1v1 build to put me over the edge for lethal, but here I want to control a multiplayer board. If Maga were in the deck, I would make X=3 to not sac Endrek. Yes, I would have my 6 thrulls but he would be a vanilla 3/3. I would see Skeletal Vampire (3/3 flyer with bat tokens and regeneration) or Ebon Praetor (5/5 that buffs over time) as direct upgrades to Maga.

Hi there fellow Endrek player!

Firstly, I'm not loving Breeding Pool. Thrull tokens are not the best because they kill Endrek, and the two mana upkeep is just not worth it. For the same cmc I'd go for Sengir Autocrat.

Phyrexian Plaguelord is a boss and pretty money friendly. I really like free instant speed sac effects so you can get big effects and cast multiple creatures in one turn without Endrek dying. Carrion Feeder is good for this, as is Viscera Seer. Fallen Angel can do some serious damage too.

Dark Prophecy!!!

Orc Sureshot. Pretty handy creature control. Great against Gods.

@PayOneLife Thanks for the comment! I'll try and hit all of your suggestions:

Sengir Autocrat: Already in here :)

Phyrexian Plaguelord / Orc Sureshot: I can see the usefulness and will think about them in the future as I playtest, but this deck causes so much sacrifice on opponent's boards that I don't think it should be an issue.

Viscera Seer: I forgot about this card! King Macar, the Gold-Cursed is out and that's in.

Carrion Feeder / Fallen Angel: I know a lot of Endrek decks run creatures like these, but I'm looking to go for more of the control route instead of the big swingers.

Dark Prophecy: This card kind of scares me in this deck since so many of my Thrulls are dying all the time, I'm afraid of milling. That being said, I'll give it a go and take out Underworld Connections for now.

Forgot to mention the Breeding Pit. It's definitely one of the weaker cards in here. However, early game if I am mana screwed, it can give me tokens for sac'ing or blocking and late game I won't mind the mana and should have sufficient sac outlets to ensure Endrek's safety.

AH, I didn't see Sengir Autocrat in there. My bad!

Dark Prophecy is insane, but I do think you need to be able to hit some lifegain every now and then.
