Casey4321, n0bunga, Zimmers_0: You should help me with this :)

Wheeling would be really cool, so would token gen to keep going with the Locus god. Stuff like Docent of Perfection  Flip and Talrand, Sky Summoner with a draw card based spell slinger.

Hey! Nice deck, definite +1 from me as I always love seeing Mass Polymorph in a deck. You reminded me of a couple cards I missed for my deck, like Ashnod's Altar and Psychosis Crawler, and some stuff I didn't even think about by playing those tribal cards (Shared Animosity) and Windreader Sphinx. What's the purpose of Strionic Resonator? Am I missing something big? I would replace it with Coat of Arms. I would also replace Flamebreak with Earthquake or something of it's ilk. Do you have any suggestions for my list?

Hey, very good decklist! I was looking for other combos for the deck since I want to build it too, and Quicksmith Spy+Blasting Station with your commander lets you draw the entire library

I'm definitely stealing your Shared Animosity idea.

Master the Way seems like a cool way to finish off the mandatory pillowfort player so I'll try to get one into my 99.

Have you considered Coat of Arms? Casting it while you control Mindmoil and The Locust God seems like a cool way to kill off someone out of nowhere.

God this looks fun to play. Hows testing going so far?

RazortoothMtg: Honestly, I don't know why Strionic Resonator was in the list. Out it goes! I also really like Flamebreak for its mana-to-effect ratio, but it got cut for more draw ;) Thank you for the help, I appreciate it!

Skulloelegy: Glad to help! :)

n0bunga: Same to you man! Trinket Mage is now in - still looking for a slot for Trophy Mage, but she'll find her way into the list eventually! :) And Lightning Storm would be a hilarious win-con, I might have to try that.

Marcs7: Thanks! I'll definitely try to include that - Blasting Station also goes infinite with Murder of Crows (which has its own utility in the deck). If you like the deck, you're welcome to give a +1 ;)

teferiofzhalfir: Shared Animosity has been consistently fantastic in this deck haha. Nothing quite like The Locust God into Shared Animosity and Wheel of Fortune, draw 7 and swing for 49. And I'm always nervous to use Coat of Arms in case I go up against a tribal deck, but I'll look for a slot :)

Zimmers_0: It's super fun so far (though I've only goldfished so far). It isn't my strongest combo deck, but it's very fun and can explode out of nowhere.

My basic assessment is that The Locust God is extremely powerful, even moreso than it appears - but it doesn't have any inherent protection, and it's very expensive at 6 mana.

If I had the money for the "real" mana rocks like Mox Diamond and Mana Crypt I think I could make it into a major threat. Until then, it will be a janky, fun combo deck that murders people with unholy plagues of locusts MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I really would like to thank you, Dave, because I had no idea how to build TLG, but now I do because of this list :D.

RedJokr: I'm glad I could inspire you! If you ever need anyone to look over your version of the deck feel free to tag me - and since this is a new commander that none of us are experienced with, please let me know what I've overlooked! :)

And if you find it helpful, +1s are appreciated (as always haha).

Don't worry. I haven't forgotten to +1 haha. It's past midnight, so I'm forgetting a lot. Thanks a lot!

I saw this spoiled yesterday and instantly sat down to brew some EDH.

While my brew is about wheel effects with a few more creatures as my table meta is pretty creature heavy. A few cards I have in my deck that are missing here (that I think are quite good) are

Arcanis the Omnipotent expensive, but you get to tap him for 3 cards. That seems good.

Mindwrack Liege Because 3/3 flyers are better then 1/1 flyers.

Fevered Visions The end step seems like a good time to put a locust out. Also hit your opponents.

Library of Leng My version is a little more wheel heavy, but uh... wheel effects putting your hand back into your library seem good. Especially from the sheer number of them you can run in EDH.

Would Browbeat be a good card in here? You can either draw three or have another player take 1/8 of their starting life total. Does not seem that bad.

Love the deck I am also interested in playing The Locust God, have you considered playing Enter the Infinite. It is a powerful wonton the your commander and Lab Maniac

Oh my gosh! So many card draws! If you're going to put card draws, you need both Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind and Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius. You also need an Elixir of Immortality because what happens when you run out of cards and your lab maniac is in your graveyard? Or what happens when someone pings you with, oh, Nicol Bolas or casts Wit's End. I would consider insurance options in case you either have to discard cards or you are forced to have your hand discarded.

Of course, it's my opinion on a very draw heavy deck. Also.... where's a dang Counterflux, Disallow or Counterspell?! Every blue deck needs at least two. XD

Is Dragon Mage to slow for this build? He seems like he would do some work.
