Mono-black control in its purest form. The deck leverages Erebos as the general to draw out of bad situations and keep lifegain decks (looking at you Oloro) under control. We usually aim to win by Exsanguinate, Torment of Hailfire, or resolving a massive Rise of the Dark Realms.

We have problems removing enchantments as most mono-black decks do.

The deck has no infinite combos Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Triskelion , Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond by design.
