Looks pretty awesome. Might I suggest adding some quick burn such as Bump in the Night , Searing Spear and Pillar of Flame ? You'll be able to nuke most of the popular control decks before they even get of the ground. More burn also goes great with your card:Geralf's Messengers and can seriously compliment Blood Artist as well since you obviously get to choose what takes the damage!

The best burn spell I can ask for is Brimstone Volley . i did not include bonfire because I do not feel like getting some, b the way, but I think I would like to play Bump in the Night . I have recently removed Skirsdag High Priest for more cacklers and shred-freaks, but If I were to include the Lava Spike esqe card then I would have to remove something. The deck is still having a bit of a crisis as I don't know exactly what it needs.

I still do, however, need a way to deal with Thragtusk .

It's inelegant and can come down too late but on colors there is Slaughter Games and earlier you have Mizzium Mortars , both of which you already have in your sideboard. Otherwise in strategy you could even consider Thrill-Kill Assassin as it has death touch and could come down early with Unleash for pressure or hold late w/o Unleash to discourage Loxodon Smiter s and Thragtusk s. Or Appetite for Brains .

All i can say is exile. Very strong mechanic in RtR. This deck would get pooped on in my meta game. Pillar of Flame

How do you suggest I change it to take these things into account?

Sorry, I didn't provide anything more constructive my first time through. The only thing I can think of is something like Appetite for Brains or Duress . They could help you by checking out what the opponents hand looks like and potentially having them discard an Oblivion Ring or Pillar of Flame . Although the appetite for brains only work on 4+ casting costs.

I just wanted you to be aware that recurring zombies themes are getting kinda weak (depending on the meta game you play in) with all the exile-ing out there. I do like the deck idea, it's just not gonna be the most competitive imo. Cheers.

I already play zombies, and I am going to build the deck, so its more of a reality than a concept. The thragtusk is a tough spot for me because it is so difficult to play against. I think that playing Slaughter Games is all I can think of to deal with the thragtusk, becauseAppetite for Brains isn't really all that useful against most decks. I could ad it to the side board against thragtusk decks.

I dont think that exiling things is such a horrible thing. Only two of my cards really rely on coming back from the grave and both work fine on their own. Exiling is just something I will have to handle.

You mentioned that one of your weakest points is Bant (specifically Thragtusk /Centaur Healer ). I play Bant Control (RestoTusk Bant Control) so I know the weaknesses I have. In trying to reduce this I can tell you Bant works off Card Advantage so card:Rakdos's Return would make them discard and do an X damage. Another thing that Bant uses is obviously Thragtusk and Centaur Healer one card Rakdos has an answer is with Rakdos Keyrune as it can kill the token and the aforementioned cards. However the lifegain is still relevant and the only cards that prevents that would be Malignus and Havoc Festival but both are very cost heavy and I don't recommend them.

card:Rakdos's Return is too slow. If i cast it for more than 3 than it is too late in the game than i want to be. I don't have room in the sideboard for the keyrune. when I have burn like Searing Spear then I can handle those creartures.

To understand why I suggested Rakdos Keyrune even in this deck. You need to know why Thragtusk is epic. 1. A 5/3 for 5 is ok. 2. Gaining 5 life with the body. Awesome. 3. The best part of Tusk (imo) he becomes/creates a 3/3 token whenever he leaves the battlefield. In a deck that is trying to take advantage of CA you are digging yourself a bigger hole in that you are 2-for-1ing Thragtusk . Rakdos Keyrune won't die to any of the creatures of the token, Thragtusk or Centaur Healer AND it dodges the Sorcery Removal that the U/W part of the deck is known for.

Playing Selesnya myself I can attest to the power of that damn keyrune. it is beyond frustrating to see played.
