Sideboard

Maybeboard

The Spirit of Christmas will always be a classic among me and my friends (both in name and in play). I no longer play this deck anymore, but I figure I could make it more casual and budget just for the heck of it. It was a fun time while it lasted. If you have any cheap alternatives or 'fun' ideas, go for it.

Spirits traditionally play more like 'spells' than most tribal creature types. Spirits often serve to control or regulate game-play. This deck in particular uses Tallowisp to get auras, while the rest slow down the game. Pariah and Spirit Mantle is a pretty cool and budget combo to end most games, but a sideboard might be wise as it is not the be all and end all in dealing with non-creature control/win-cons in order decks. The set up itself is far too slow for modern, so its more a casual setting deck.
