A deck that wants to win by assembling all 10 guildgates (shhh, don't tell them about Gateway Plaza ) using Maze's End . Don't worry, there are also a few other land based wincons, mentioned below.

Notable Interactions:

- Scapeshift and Reshape the Earth are basically single-card-combos with Maze's End .

-{ Grim Backwoods or Phyrexian Tower } + Volrath's Stronghold : Lets you repeatedly sac Child of Alara and recur it for a pretty substantial lock on the board. Oh yeah, and with the new death rule for commanders, you don't really even need Volrath's Stronghold (but it can help save on mana later on).

- Academy Ruins + Oblivion Stone is an alternative way to lock down the board.

- Hall of Heliod's Generosity + Pernicious Deed is yet another board lock.

- Inkmoth Nexus + Kessig Wolf Run can one-shot people later in the game.

- Dark Depths + Thespian's Stage : The classic 20/20 indestructible flyer trick.

- Magosi, the Waterveil + Nesting Grounds + Karn's Bastion + Deserted Temple : Infinite turns using only lands!

- Blast Zone + { Thespian's Stage or Nesting Grounds }: Kill all of the tokens.

- Glacial Chasm + Nesting Grounds : Live forever.

- Punishing Fire + Grove of the Burnwillows : Good at killing smaller creatures; Deserted Temple , Vesuva , and/or Thespian's Stage can allow for extra casts of Punishing Fire in a single turn.

- Field of the Dead and Kher Keep help supplement Westvale Abbey   and help it transform since the deck's creature count is so low.

- Castle Vantress works well with cards that let you play lands off of the top of your library (and fetchlands to some extent as well).

- Cabal Coffers and Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth allow you to create a ton of mana for use with things like Crawling Barrens , Blast Zone , Thrasios, Triton Hero , Dark Depths , Kessig Wolf Run , and Radha, Heart of Keld .

- Grinning Totem + Academy Ruins lets you replace your draw steps with tutored cards from opponents' libraries.

Utility Lands:

-A few notes:

- Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth also allows lands which don't produce mana ( Glacial Chasm , Dark Depths , Maze of Ith , fetchlands) to produce mana.

- Dust Bowl not only blows up opponents' lands, but also allows you to 'reset' your 'enter the battlefield'/'effect-from-hand' lands assuming you have Crucible of Worlds / Life from the Loam / Ramunap Excavator - stuff like Mystic Sanctuary / Bojuka Bog . Note: Mystic Sanctuary can be used in this manner in order to establish an alternative board lock with Merciless Eviction .

- Maze of Ith , Kor Haven , Mystifying Maze , Labyrinth of Skophos , Prahv, Spires of Order , and Thaumatic Compass   let you prevent big chunks of combat damage. Kor Haven , Deserted Temple , Vesuva , and Thespian's Stage also do good impressions.
