Yes, this deck actually works. The goal here is to have more Tarmogoyf than they have answers to Tarmogoyf. By playing an extremely low land count with a high number of fetchlands, deck thinners like Mishra's Bauble and Street Wraith, a really strong tutor card in Traverse the Ulvenwald, and even a way to peek and filter with bauble-wraith-fetchland, eventually a Tarmogoyf is going to stick.
