Our lab scientists were trying to create a formula to increase their power. They've found many ways of doing so, but on the last experiment, everything vanished. They recreated the Approach of the Second Sun and that was the last thing we've learned from them.

In their search for power, Incubation Druid and Rishkar, Peema Renegade found a way to recreate the energy that runs their world. Vorel of the Hull Clade followed Hadana's Climb   until unable to control his Increasing Savagery from the Simic Ascendancy within, unleashing great beasts upon the world, such as the one called Heroes' Bane, destroying all Contingency Plans. Their raw power shook the core of the globe, but it was a loose cannon. It needed focus and guidance. So Herald of Secret Streams uncovered his secrets to control the roaring waterfall of emotions inside them and Kiora's Follower helped them return to their initial form of body and mind after long nights studying to achieve Biomantic Mastery. But their thrist for power wasn't over and that's what ultimately caused their own doom.

All of that happened eons ago. They're but fragments of the perfect memory of Omnispell Adept, capable of recreating the whole story again.

Now here's a cool hand you can play:

  1. Oran-Rief, the Vastwood

  2. Island and Kiora's Follower

  3. Yavimaya Coast and Incubation Druid - tap Oran-Rief to let it come down with a counter!

  4. Temple of Mystery comes down (or any nother land) and now you have access to whole bunch of mana, since you can untap your Incubation Druid and make 6 mana with just him. You could get your Heroes' Bane on the game and then Hadana's Climb  . Together they cost 8 mana and you have more than enough for that. You can even tap your Oran-Rief again to let Heroes' Bane enter with 5 counters. Let it gain another from Hadana's Climb and flip it.

  5. Use your mana to activate Hadana's, make a 12/12 flying hydra and then use Heroe's Bane ability to double that before striking

  6. Have fun imagining such a huge monster suddenly flying and devouring everything on its path. Personally, I like to think about a bunch of balloons around it hahaha

If you can't fly, Herald of Secret Streams should help you. If you need big beasts, Heroes' Bane is the first choice and Contingency Plan can help us find it or adjust out next turns. With the help of a bit of magic, such as Increasing Savagery, basically anything can become a threat. If you have Omnispell Adept on the field, it may even come as if it had flash. She is a costly creature to summon, but with the help of Incubation Druid, Kiora's Follower [which can be used to untap your +1/+1 generators] and Rishkar, Peema Renegade, you should be fine. Vorel of the Hull Clade and Hadana's Climb   are a meaning duo.

Approach of the Second Sun is just a fun way of ending things if you have your Omnispell on the battlefield or if you already fliped Hadana's. Probably best for longer games. Biomantic Mastery is a good way of finding both of them.

Simic Ascendancy works amazingly well with Vorel and Heroe's Bane and can also win you the game.

If you want to win based only on counters, you should consider the combo Incubation Druid + Vigean Graftmage
