The Scarab God has become a real popular EDH commander these past few weeks since HOD dropped, but that is only stating the obvious. With so much zombie support in the proverbial aether, fans of the undead have risen behind this imposing figure to wreak havoc on their friends. The focus of the deck is to win of course, but the method is three fold: deny, enslave, and over run! Deny your opponents the right to cast spells by countering them from hand or milling them from the deck with Psychic Strike and Glimpse the Unthinkable . Use The Scarab God to eternalize their creatures to fight or you, or exile them with Undead Alchemist . Over run your opponents by mass token generation from Endless Ranks of the Dead , Army of the Damned , and Liliana, the Last Hope .
