Playtesting changes —Feb. 7, 2017

My experiment with Conjurer's Closet and Cauldron of Souls didn't go so great. I think they'd do better in a dedicated flicker deck. I decided to focus more on the sacrifice and reanimation theme:

Conjurer's Closet ---> Altar of Dementia: The altar provides me with another 0 mana activation cost sac outlet. I can fill my opponents' graves with more creatures with it.

Cauldron of Souls ---> Dread Return: I wanted to add an extra way to reanimate.

Black Market ---> Mind Stone: I like Black Market but it moved to slowly for my playgroup. It would get blown up before being really effective. Mind Stone gives me some extra early game ramp.

Crux of Fate ---> Noxious Gearhulk: The deck had more than enough boardwipes. I wanted another reanimation target that serves double duty as removal and a threat with evasion.

Silence the Believers ---> Puppeteer Clique: Silence the believers always felt a bit too mana intensive. Puppeteer Clique gives me another way to steal my opponents' threats.

Smothering Abomination ---> Grim Haruspex: Too often I would end up just sacrificing the abomination to itself, making it an expensive way to draw one card. Haruspex can give me greater value over time.

Have you considered Voldaren Pariah  Flip or Ruthless Disposal? Distended Mindbender certainly seems useful here, as a method of disruption.
