When i first heard about EDH back when i first started playing Magic, I really wanted to make an Rat Tribal deck for some strange reason, but I never got around to doing it. But now since i have the knowledge to make a deck that isn't total garbage, i feel it's the best time. So here's The Return of Rats!

• Illusionist's Bracers + Marrow-Gnawer - Extra activation, which means more rats!
• Jandor's Saddlebags + Marrow-Gnawer - Once again, more activation's of the rat kings ability, means more rats!
• Rings of Brighthearth + Marrow-Gnawer - You get the idea, abuse Marrow-Gnawer's ability as much as possible
• Thousand-Year Elixir + Marrow-Gnawer - Thousands of rats at instant speed!
• Thornbite Staff + Marrow-Gnawer - Infinite Rats anyone?

Explanation of the Thornbite Staff + Marrow-Gnawer Infinite Combo

Start out with Marrow-Gnawer and two other Rats. Activate the Marrow-Gnawer's ability, sacrificing the Rat. Thornbite Staff 's ability triggers, and when the trigger resolves, the Marrow-Gnawer untaps. Then Marrow-Gnawer's ability resolves, and you get two Rats, and now you're up to four. You repeat the process getting infinite rats.
