This deck is heavily inspired by ay.lobo's deck:purphoros-and-krenkos-multiplayer-annihilators. I found it when browsing some decks for ideas on token generating cards and cards to support them using this commander to generate lots of damage from his triggered ability.

That's a very good question!
There are a few more expensive cards that I don't have any available copies of like Scroll Rack. Also our play group is much more casual, frowning on most tutor effects and land destruction, the good news is that those cuts make room for some of the more bomby and fun token generators that didn't otherwise make the cut for the competitive list.

I will be keeping the Wheel of Fortune effects and the powerful selection of artifact mana to offset mono-red's biggest weaknesses which are lack of ramp and tendency to quickly run out of steam.

End goal is: Fun without sacrificing too much function!
