Torment and torture is what we do here.

Waking up in a dreary dungeon our Damien sees a flash of matted fur. The chattering of small razor sharp and rabies infected chompers drives his mind into the darkest place he could think of. Which is slowly starting to look better with each glimpse of the Rotting Rats scurrying about. He was starting to realize that the Raven's Crime was a very bad idea. Getting caught was not something that he had planned. However, now that it had happened he was really beginning to Despise his traitor of a partner. It seemed simple enough to sneak into the underground palace by way of the Cavern of Souls. Making it to the Mutavault to steal the emperors riches.

This plan had little margin for error and even less when your supposed comrade is a palace informant. Things went fine until the thieving Pack Rat duo got to the clearing just past the Bloodstained Mire. This was when Damien realized he had been double crossed. That Drainpipe Vermin Jessup had planned the whole thing. The reward for turning in the notorious "Damien Nightclaw Thief Extraordinaire" was twice that of his cut on this simple heist.

Quickly Damien found himself bound and loaded on a trolley. He dreaded what was next. The penalty for stealing from the royal family was not just death. It was a torturous death. Not many people could withstand the Inquisition of Kozilek. He used to hear the screams when he was a kid. The Shrieking Affliction of the tormented souls on The Rack still haunted his dreams.

Now that Damien was aware of his surroundings he knew that it was the end. He only saw two outcomes. First being the agonizingly painful racking which was sure to Dismember him slowly. The other is the slow drawn out death by rat. The latter seemed more likely considering the armada of Ravenous Rats that were flashing around him. Next came the first bite. The pain was bearable but that was not nearly comforting enough. The thought of his body being slowly eaten while he was still breathing pushed him over the edge. Poor Damien's life flashed before his eyes and he was quickly dreaming of his girl back home knowing he would never feel Liliana's Caress again.
