The rage from the great Omnath is echoing through the mountains and into the forests as the nearby battles wage on. The destruction is causing Omnath to focus on bringing out the natives for help. Krenko, Mob Boss may use the gold generated by Curse of Opulence to pay Magmaw to do some damage while you ramp up to get Omnath, Locus of Rage into the field to produce some hefty elementals to do the heavy work. Don't worry though because in the meantime Omnath has convinced Nylea, God of the Hunt to help and in doing so the army was lent benefits from the Bow of Nylea. The strategy is simply, ramp and attack until there is nothing left. Do not fear though, as Omnath dislikes the overabundance, or under-abundance, of mana so by providing us with Abundance we are able to hit all the right drops and just keep swinging away. The question now becomes, will you fight with Omnath to secure the natural world from this chaos? Or are you going to bring more chaos into this world?

Maybeboard Show

The maybe board contains certain items that were originally intended to be in this deck but were cut due to cost. I mean the10 cards in maybeboard cost at least 4 times the cost of the actual deck but will amp up the power of the deck considerably. Doubling Season and Primal Vigor are probably some of the best suited cards for this deck and it is for that reason that they were considered... strongly. Chandra added mana, card draw, creature removal (as long as they were a 4/4 or lower) and the ult added repeatable burn that is quite powerful. Purphoros, God of the Forge gave you an ability to constantly burn your opponents while creating creatres and if you have him than I would strongly recomend him instead of Flayer of the Hatebound because although Flayer may deal more damage, indestructible is just generally harder to remove. You could keep both of them and remove something else and double your chances of destroying your opponents. Now the most powerful card in that bunch would be Gaea's Cradle as it has the potential to produce 10, 20, or even a few hundred mana every time you tap it allowing for you to pay into genesis hydra and cast anything in your deck or just cast your entire hand, or pay repeatable costs like the one on Purphoros, God of the Forge giving your creatures +1/+0 for each red mana you control. So while the maybeboard can increase the power of the deck exponentially, taking it out may actually make the games more fun to play.

Early Game Show

Strategy for the early game is fairly straight forward. Ramp as much as you can using cards such as Ainok Guide, Verdant Haven, Sol Ring, Khalni Heart Expedition and any cards allowing you to play 2 lands per turn. Once/if you get abundance you will have a much easier time hitting those land drops. Getting out any landfall creatures you control during this time can be beneficial but save your fetch lands if you can. Having a fetchland ETB and then sacking it to add another land will trigger landfall twice and when you have some of the more powerful landfall creatures out later in the game you will benefit a lot more. Due to only having 2 colors I figured this deck wont need as heavy of fixing.

Mid Game Show

Mid game is where you should really start to shine. Mid game for this deck is refering to the point where you have enough mana to get omnath out. The goal at this point is landfall, get that trigger as often as possible to produce the elementals. Due to your main creature being 5/5's that you didn't pay anything for, you can start to spend your mana on whatever you have in your hand to give you any sort of landfall edge. Such cards are Tunneling Geopede, Akoum Hellkite, Architect of the Untamed and basically anything that gives you an edge. Keep playing those landfall items. All the while keep swinging with your Elementals as if they connect to your opponent they deal 5 damage and if your opponent destroys them than you can choose to burn them for 3 which allows for relatively consistent burn. Especially if you have Abundance on the field.

Late Game Show

By now you will have hopefully gotten at least 1 of the win conditions into the field aside from requiring landfall triggers. Due to constant swinging you should have dealt some damage and if that hasn't worked you will have hopefully saved up some extra life from landfall triggers. This deck is fairly straight forward into the laid game, and that is to keep the aggro up until you win. Do not fear losing your creatures and keep attacking.

Win Conditions Show

Combo 1: Krenko Burn

Krenko, Mob Boss + Magmaw + Flayer of the HateboundA few turns of tapping krenko will allow for a good build up of small 1/1 goblins. Well if they each deal 1 damage entering the field and you pay 1 for each of them to sacrifice and deal another damage then your opponent wont have much choice but to lose. If not you can always sacrifice other creatures to magmaw or even just swarm your opponent with the dozen little 1/1 goblins. Magmaw can be replaced with Barrage of Expendables or Blood Rites but magmaw does not require red mana.

Combo 2: Koth's Land Assault

Koth of the Hammer ult allows you to tap your lands to deal damage to your opponent. Even if it takes you 3 turns to get it off (assuming you don't get any of the proliferate) than you won't have a problem burning your opponents life total down.

Combo 3: Embodiment of Destruction

Embodiment of Insight + Embodiment of Fury + Koth of the HammerThis gives land creatures vigilance and trample which basically means that your creature count for this deck rose from 28 to 68, assuming you get any of the cards that turn your lands into elementals.
