Commander 2018 Update —Aug. 20, 2018

Updated the landbase. Finished collecting the fetches. Replaced Irrigated Farmland with Tundra.

Added Estrid, the Masked, Tuvasa the Sunlit, and Estrid's Invocation from CMDR 18.

Also testing out Enduring Ideal. It might not be great, but it could be fun, plus it has potential to be powerful. We'll see.

Comment wipe.

this is such a cool, gimmicky deck!

lose the Ulvenwald Hydra and add Cleansing Meditation to combo with your Enchanted Evening.

i love enchantments and playing my Anafenza The Enchantress EDH Deck stil i am having some troubles with understanding your cursed enchantress deck. looks fun but tarrifieing at the same time. stil i feel like some things can be added and some things can go away. but for a first look this deck at my locals wouldn't survive a single turn. as for the deck u want to play as much enchantments as possible. so the money of lands wil also be of big estimation for the deck. cards i would suggest to put out are - Agent of Erebos Femeref Enchantress Kor Spiritdancer Ulvenwald Hydra i would for creatures add definitly these to your deck Herald of the Pantheon Sun Titan Avacyn, Angel of Hope Auramancer and to slot it out i would also maybe suggest this enchantment Maelstrom Nexus

SufferFromEDHD the Hydra used to tutor up Serra's Sanctum, but I'm currently testing one of the new curses in it's spot. I originally considered Cleansing Meditation but I couldn't reliably trigger threshold, plus I don't need the temptation to destroy all permanents. Honestly, the meta has been calling curses "too competitive" as it is.

TzickyT I appreciate the comment, but the deck runs fine. Clearly our meta are different, because I need Agent of Erebos to deal with all the reanimator in my area. The enchantresses are what make the deck playable. I don't know what your meta is, but if they need to be cut and yet can't survive, something is wrong. The cards you suggest are more good stuff and less focused for what this deck wants. Although the deck does need to be updated, because I'm pretty sure the Hydra and Femeref Enchantress are going to be cut for the new curses, which are actually better when cursing me.

In any event, I appreciate the comments.

Crop Rotation or Expedition Map might be more efficient at getting Serra's Sanctum

I figured I have Tempt and Sylvan Scrying, they should be enough. So Im testing one of the new curses.

cut a mountain and add a plains. Prismatic Omen is unnecessary. Utopia Sprawl would net you a card from your creature draw engines. Ethereal Armor seems like a good finisher for this list.

SufferFromEDHD just because i have a good landbase, doesnt mean I'm going to have perfect mana each game. earlier in the deck, Omen was a Chromatic Lantern but this is cheaper, can be recurred easier and can trigger a draw. it's worth the slot. Utopia Sprawl seems bad with only 7 targets. Also not great in general. maybe im missing something...

I am considering Ethereal Armor again. Just need to test it out in various spots.

Remember eons ago when I said I would make a curse deck?

Yeah me neither.

But I did!

Here you go: Tada!

I'd consider Sun Titan. Bringing curses directly back from the graveyard doesn't target, meaning it can get around both protection and hexproof (ex. Aegis of the Gods, Runed Halo)
